A lot of people probably are questioning why this blog was even created, “was this blog just made to inform people or does this person actually have a personal connection to these types of cars.” These are the types of questions I imagine are being thrown around as people read this vlog and the posts surrounding it.
Ive always been a big car person, I’ve been surrounded by them my whole life. When I was younger I would always be helping my dad or grandpa work on their cars, because they always were suspicious that if you brought your car to the mechanic they’d do something to your car so you’d have to pay extra on top of what you’re already paying for. When I was younger I remember always being excited to see peoples new cars, and see all the cool new features they have to offer. I was always into technology growing up as it was always around my life, and a big part of who I am today.
I was never a big fan of electric cars until the first Tesla model S came out in 2013. When that car came out I was amazed with how beautiful the car looked, and how they managed to turn such a nice looking car all electric. I didn’t want to believe it at first but I realized how fast technology was advancing, and how good of an idea a car like that actually was. The idea of a car that can go over hundreds of miles in a single charge, go over 60 MPH (miles per hour) in under 5 seconds, and still look good and help the environment. I felt like I was dreaming.
After discovering the Tesla Model S, I began to research more and more on electric cars, and began to enjoy them the more I read about them. I discovered all the insentives and possibilities e.v’s have to offer and have been a fan ever since.
